Sue Brissette Cass and her husband Dave have adopted two children. Libby Zhen Ji, now
nine, was adopted from China at age ten months. Annie Thi Thu, now five, was adopted
from Vietnam at age seven months. They made the decision to adopt after years of
infertility treatment. They give thanks every day for the privilege of parenting their
magnificent daughters. Sue, Dave, Libby and Annie live in upstate New York with their
golden retriever Rosie, three cats, and two gerbils.
Sue has a master’s degree in health policy and management from Harvard School of
Public Health. After 20 years as a hospital administrator and senior executive in
healthcare organizations, Sue operates a healthcare consulting firm with a writing
specialty. She and her husband often spend time with prospective adoptive parents,
sharing their adoption experiences.
